The Bohemian Style
One of the biggest movements in the fashion world in the last couple of years has been the Bohemian style. This style has started to emerge and become a popular style of choice with celebraties and regular people.
The Bohemian style started to take shape around the 1950’s to 1960’s and was predominantly worn by hippies and people with free spirits. They developed the style by visiting a vast array of places and getting influenced by styles in each location.
So what is the Bohemian style? Well, when you see it you will recognise it but there are a few key pieces of clothing that make the style.
The first is the Long maxi dress. Maxi dresses that have a floral type design with a geometric style as well as the designs that are pretty out there contribute to the Bohemian style. Maxi skirts with a similar type of design can also be used.
A short Kaftan type dress in a cotton fabric is a great part of a Bohemian style outfit. You can then accessorise this with long hanging jewellery.
Long skirts with a floral print or colourful pattern combined with a plain white tank top can get you the look. Top this off with a head covering and boots.
Harem or Hippie pants are a often associated with the Bohemian style.
